Advocacy

Southern California Crossroads believes that in order to advance the field of Community Violence Intervention and continue to provide crucial services in our communities we must elevate advocacy efforts to support our mission. Crossroads provides support for causes and outreach that align with our values and help promote peace efforts. Crossroads currently works with Los Angeles County Office of Violence Prevention conducting coalition building services through Regional Violence Prevention Coalition efforts. The RVPC team works on identifying issues of violence in their service planning areas and on identifying populations who have been most affected by violence in those areas. They work to create solutions and provide support to individuals who are affected by violence in their community by collaborating with community partners and hosting coalition meetings.
